Jesus said, "Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)

The heart of Church of Hope is to help see all people realising their full potential in life and knowing the love of Christ in a real and personal way. For this reason we have uploaded many practical teachings and resources on this website to help equip all Christians to lead others to Christ and to grow strong in their own walk with the Lord. In short we believe as a church in the importance of both evangelism and in equipping and encouraging all Christians to become mature disciples:

Works in these ways...

It looks for the good in people

instead of harping on the worst;

It seeks the Lord and discovers what can be done

instead of grumbling about what can't be done;

It regards problems, large and small

as opportunities

It trusts in the LORD and pushes ahead

when it would be easier to quit;

It "lights a candle"

instead of "cursing the darkness"

It opens doors where despair closes them

It cherishes no illusions

nor does it yield to cynicism;

and the belief that He will

"never leave you nor forsake you".

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,

And whose hope is the LORD." (Jeremiah 17:7)
