A COURSE TO SUIT ALL CHRISTIANS

Jesus emphasised the importance of making disciples in Matthew 28:19-20. Kitale Bible College has a vision to help see all Christians becoming strong in their faith. 

Kitale Bible College Africa offers a choice of three courses that can be enrolled in by all Christians seeking to grow in their walk with the Lord. All courses give a good grounding in the Christian faith.

For those who have a goal of simply growing in their faith to be more effective in reaching out to those in their work place, the six-month discipleship course would be ideal.

For those wishing to enter into full time ministry both the one-year certificate of Theology course and one and a half year Ministry Diploma course would equip them for such a work.

The one year certificate of Theology course is also ideal for those who have been called as Evangelists as it helps to prepare them to be more effective in ministering within the context of a local church. A key function of the five fold ministry evangelist is to also equip the saints for the work of ministry.   (Ephesians 4:11-12)

The Ministry Diploma course is ideal for those who have a pastoral call to the ministry and a desire to plant churches as it covers many aspects of Church Leadership. Bishop Geoffrey also runs a one week Pastors Workshop to prepare pastors and leaders to set up Bible Training Colleges. Details of this Workshop are outlined below after the summary of the three Bible College Courses.

Following is a description of the three courses that can be enrolled in at Kitale Bible College Africa and an outline of the one week pastors workshop.

COURSE ONE:

SIX MONTH DISCIPLESHIP COURSE

COURSE BASED ON: Acts 8:30-31 & Matt. 28:18-20

The six month Discipleship course also involves being involved in some practical ministry projects. These include:

1) Personal Evangelism

2) Being a part of a gospel crusade, and      

3) Being involved in discipling some new Christians (Making disciples for Jesus)

This six month course offers a good mix of both Theory and practical ministry experience.

COURSE TWO:

ONE YEAR CERTIFICATE OF THEOLOGY

COURSE BASED ON: John 8:30-32 & 2 Tim. 2:15  

In this Certificate of Theology Course students are encouraged to prayerfully discover their Ministry gifts and callings. The Lecturers at Kitale Bible College also prayerfully assist those in this course to find God's call upon their lives.

After graduating from the college the students from this course would be equipped to:

1) Plant churches internationally

2) Train others in their churches and ministries, and

3) Introduce & launch new Bible Colleges in Africa.

COURSE THREE:

ONE AND A HALF YEAR DIPLOMA COURSE

Study Materials: Church of Hope Discipleship, Ministry and Leadership Training Manuals

COURSE BASED ON: John 8:30-32 & 2 Tim. 2:15  

In this one and a half year Diploma Course students are given a slightly more thorough training in areas such as leadership with more topics being covered from the Ministry Training Manuals.

Students doing the Diploma Course are actively encouraged to find their Ministry calling and to prayerfully discover their ministry gifts.

The Lecturers at Kitale Bible College prayerfully assist all those in this course to find out God's call upon their lives, and upon graduating, in helping them to enter into that call. People who graduate from the Diploma Course will be equipped to:

1) Plant churches internationally

2) Train others in their churches and ministries, and

3) Introduce & launch new Bible Colleges in Africa.

ONE WEEK PASTORS WORKSHOP

Study Materials: Pastors Workshop Guidelines Manual, Pastors Workshop Teaching Notes (Pastors Workshops)

Note: For one week workshops that are run to launch new bible colleges in other countries, the Ministry Manual and Leadership and Discipleship Manual are used instead of the Pastors Workshops Teaching Notes.

These one week workshops run by Church of Hope and Kitale Bible College are designed to encourage and equip existing pastors. These workshops have a two fold purpose of 1) Training up leaders and pastors to go out and run further workshops to equip and encourage other networks of pastors, and 2) To help pastors and leaders to establish training courses in their own local churches or to establish new Bible Colleges.

COURSE FEES:

The course fees are the same for all three courses:

One off Registration Fee: KSHS 300

Monthly Tuition Fee: KSHS 400 for each month of the course chosen

AT THE COMPLETION OF EACH COURSE STUDENTS ARE GIVEN A SEALED CERTIFICATE FOR THEIR PRESCRIBED COURSE AND OFFICIALLY COMMISSIONED AT A GRADUATION CEREMONY.
